Vice
General Novotny Rybolt: Commanded the warship
Savage Knight, and represented the Imperium Military Forces as adjutant
to the Imperium Realm of Divinity; communicating concerns of military
might to the religious magistrates, and vice versa. Rybolt was a veteran
of many conflicts, including the infamous Solar Wars. His influence
weighed in both the Arbiter Courts of Justice Command, and in the Realm
of Divinity. He was responsible for commissioning the legendary Kort
Villikon.
Personal: Dedicated to his career, Rybolt compromised his own happiness and neglected his family for military duty. A proud soldier, Rybolt was decorated many times for exemplary service, valor, and commitment to military service. Married with four children, his three sons were killed in a shuttle accident, which sent his wife, Serena, into deep depression. Serena became addicted to Imbesi Pain Leeches (worms ingested orally to induce surreal feelings of pregnancy.) She died of a bloated stomach with severe internal bleeding. Rybolt was widowed with one surviving daughter, Calista, who was 4 years old at the time of Serena's death. Rybolt nurtured the career of a young officer named Villikon and married Calista to the distinguished soldier. Villikon and Calista bore Rybolt a grandson, Jazar, before their marriage crumbled. Rybolt never approved of his daughter's union with Malcolm Vismal after Villikon was expelled. Rybolt commanded the mission to retrieve Villikon from exile on Itasca. (Appears on Page 53 of Book 1) |
