Sha'leste
Anza-Borrego: The only natural child of convicted
exile andassassin, Lord Jasta. Her mother was also a convict who died
shortly after Sha'leste was born.
Personal: Sha'leste was a spitting image of her mother, the princess
of an Imperium Nation, convicted and banished for murdering her own
father to become queen. Sha'leste was bitterly jealous and malicious
towards her surrogate stepsisters, Mystere and Fallon. Sha'leste, who
was quite similar in respect to her own mother's criminal behavior,
organized a brothel to prostitute women on Itasca. She imposed the indignity
upon her sisters, much to the disapproval of Jasta. Sha'leste took a
lover, criminal Epimetheus Von. Her position as the keeper of Itasca's
brothel, combined with her sexual prowess and electric sensuality, gained
her favor among Jasta's men. Sha'leste and Epimetheus Von cast out her
father from the community he had created and ruled over its final days
before Porphyrians attacked. Mesmerized by her striking beauty, Creighton
spared Sha'leste from the feeding and turned her into his queen. In
Porphyrian form, she preyed upon Mystere and Fallon as a succubus vision
in the dreamscapes of their minds. Creighton impregnated Sha'leste before
his death at the hands of Mystere. Sha'leste would someday give birth
to the only natural born Porphyrian, the spawn of Creighton, a child
she would name, Ahga Khia.
