Epimetheus Von: Served at the Imperium Embassy
on Klembokxia, and in the 27th Fleet as a moonbeam conversionist during
the Solar Wars. He suffered corneal damage as a result of duty in the
Yuvati Sunbelt. He was instrumental in negotiations that allowed the Klembokxians and MoHommonites to serve in the Imperium Military Forces. Criminal Record: Sentenced to Itasca for attempted mutiny while assigned as first officer aboard the Carpathia. Personal: He was an opportunist and constant rebel of authority. While assigned to the planet Klembokxia, Epimetheus married a Klembokxian woman for no apparent reason other than her wealth. Humanoids degraded his inter-specie marriage to a Klembokxian, but Klembokxians welcomed him as one of their own. He was the reason many Klembokxians joined the Imperium Forces, including his brother-in-law, Lemual Z. Silas. Von's wife was tragically killed in an attack fueled by prejudice and hatred because of their inter-specie marriage. He squandered his inherited fortune, along with his brother-in-law, Silas. Passed over for promotion, deeply in debt, and somewhat grief stricken over the death of his wife, Von plotted with Silas to seize and sell the warship he was serving on to black marketers. Von and Silas were unsuccessful and sentenced to Itasca. Von adapted to life on the prison world by overthrowing Lord Jasta, the leader of an organized clan of convicts. He took one of Jasta's three daughters, Sha'leste, as his lover and ruled over the sect of thugs. Von was infected, and later killed by Creighton, the progenitor of the Porphyrian Race.
