Sebastian Liesl: Originally a weapons administrator
assigned to the 27th Fleet, and a veteran of the Solar Wars. Criminal Record: Sentenced to Itasca for illegal distribution of weapons to refugees in the Zakien System. Personal: Raised in an orphanage, he was placed in the service of the military when he grew out of his youth. Liesl was an honorable man, never married, dedicated to duty, and was deemed by many to be a bleeding heart for any cause that would help his fellow man. Liesl was religious and wanted nothing more than to serve the Imperium Forces as a Divine Proctor, but Divine Proctors are born and not trained or assigned as such. They're linked to the Lord Kramgassel through blood lineage to Kramgassel's good son, Rol' Amiel. Liesl had no such lineage to the Prophets. His goodness of heart was his undoing. His decision to smuggle weapons to persecuted refugees was cause for his expulsion from the Imperium Forces. His banishment on Itasca led him to encounter Kort Villikon. In his obscured reality, he recruited two disciples, Enkryptus and Adonia from among other convicts at Jasta's compound. He convinced a penitent colony and believed that Kort Villikon was a prophetic leader foretold of in written scriptures from Kramgassel's Decree. Liesl and his apostles spearheaded the movement to proclaim Villikon to be a prophetically ordained savior. Liesl followed Villikon on a crusade lasting four years, which resulted in their planetary escape. Exonerated, Kort Villikon pardoned Liesl and his banished comrades and assigned them to serve under his new command. Sebastian Liesl was appointed the commander aboard Admiral Villikon's Intelligence Class Warship, Primordial Sin. (Appears on Page 9 of Book 1) |
